Refund policy

RETURNS & EXCHANGES (SECURITY-TAG PROTECTED)

We accept returns on eligible items to help you shop with confidence—while protecting our small-batch inventory.

Return Window

  • Return requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.

  • Once approved, items must be postmarked within 48 hours.

  • Returns received outside this timeframe will not be accepted.

Return Eligibility (ALL conditions must be met)
Items must be:

  • New, unused, unworn, and unwashed

  • Free of odor (perfume, smoke, deodorant), stains, pet hair, lint, stretching, or damage

  • Returned in original condition and packaging when applicable

  • Returned with the Return Eligibility Tag attached, intact, and untampered

Important: If the Return Eligibility Tag is removed or damaged, the item is not eligible for return, no exceptions.

Inspection Only Policy
Due to the delicate nature of our fabrics, items are for inspection only (color, sizing, feel).
Trying on items is not permitted. Any signs of wear will void return eligibility.

Return Shipping Responsibility

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for:

    • Incorrect size selection

    • Color preference

    • Style preference

    • Any non-defective reason

  • M Lou Closet will cover return shipping only if:

    • The item arrives damaged

    • The item has a verified defect upon arrival

    • The incorrect item was sent

    • Return shipping is expressly approved by us

Exchanges

  • Size exchanges are allowed on eligible items, subject to availability.

  • Exchanges must meet all return conditions above.

Refunds & Store Credit

  • Approved returns are issued as store credit.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Final Sale
All items marked Final Sale / Closeout Steals are not eligible for return or exchange.

Return Refusals
We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of wear or patterns of excessive return activity.
